Pineridge Promotional Media

What does a television program development company have to do with industrial videos, TV commercials, Interactive Web content and royalty-free film footage? Everything… because all of those things are to be found under the umbrella of our new PineRidge Promotional Media.

PineRidge pioneered interactive convergence by helping launch the Scripps D.I.Y. Network how-to web pages for D.I.Y. Kids. The purpose of the site was to help kids actually accomplish the tasks featured on the new network’s shows. We developed and produced the first internet-based commercials for our Emmy award-winning Travel Channel shows with Samantha Brown, and then went on to feature her in the premiere of Buick Lucerne’s new Turn-by-Turn navigation system for the Digitas agency in New York City.

Our Promos-To-Go film package puts beautifully shot American life-style scenes in the hands of agencies and producers for a fraction of the typical cost. PPM recently completed a fifty-minute documentary history of the Waldorf=Astoria Hotel called “Host to the World.” It is a fascinating look inside the walls of arguably the grandest hotel in America.

Who Knew: Did you know that the Waldorf=Astoria has not always been in the same place? The old location is the current site of a building that King Kong loved to hang around: The Empire State Building. Another little-known fact: The Waldorf’s kitchen occupies one entire New York city block!
