Series: Samantha Brown: Passport to Latin America
Imagine scaling an active volcano, chasing penguins in frigid winds, roping cows with real gauchos, dancing the tango in the middle of the night, eating guinea pig for lunch, or driving a racecar at speeds of over 100 MPH. This is just a sample of what the PineRidge crew experienced on its most recent travel series; Samantha Brown: Passport To Latin America. From the tip of the continent, in the world’s southern most city of Punta Arenas, Chile, to the bustling streets of Mexico City, PineRidge covered as much of this colorful part of the world as possible. Our crews traveled from the little known beaches of the Honduran coasts to the famous shores of Ipanema Beach in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil capturing what life is like in Latin America. What we found was one amazing experience after another. This original series was developed and produced by PineRidge for the Travel Channel where it is currently airing.
Who Knew: While taping PTLA our production team hiked down into the depths of one of the world’s largest active volcanoes in Costa Rica, and we snorkeled along the world’s second largest barrier reef off the coast of Belize. We traveled to 12 countries…to over 35 cities and towns…across 3 mountain ranges….splashed in the waters of 2 oceans…and took one unforgettable ride on a chicken bus!
