Who Knew: We finished our European series in the great country of Iceland which actually lies on the edge of the Mid-Atlantic Ridge, meaning Iceland is a hot spot of geothermal activity. Iceland has had over thirty volcanic eruptions in the past 200 years, which actually benefits the country by supplying it with lots of hot water for inexpensive and pollution-free heating.
